As we all know the murder of George Floyd sparked a cultural stampede in multiple cities across the United States . Igniting the Black Lives Matter Movement . Recently George Floyd’s daughter Gianna Floyd celebrated her 7th birthday . What made this birthday so special even with the tragic loss of her father, is that Atlanta born rapper Lil Baby not only sponsored the young girls birthday party but showed up to help her celebrate . Though he has stated that he is choosing not to get into politics of any kind , Lil Baby has not been quiet about where he stands with police brutality and the BLM movement . He was seen protesting in his home city of Atlanta and released his single “ The Bigger Picture “. Where he talks about not only his own personal experiences but also about what he has seen being a black man growing up in an area that sadly has community and police conflict. It brings joy to everyone to see this young girl be able to celebrate her birthday as a child should. And not have the death of her father be a constant reminder but to allow her to be a kid . We continue to mourn the loss of her father and fight for the rights of blacks everywhere .
